Turkish Village is a specialized zone in ICC mall, for the sales of Turkish tastes and goods. The aim was to fit 15 different small shops within the space so we decided to push the small shops to the perimeter leaving the middle space as a gathering and attraction zone. The main concept was to replicate a cobble-stoned town square with varying façade types and a bright sky. The floor is covered with basalt cobble stone, a cloud print stretch ceiling is built and the existing columns are covered with greenery to support the open-air feeling of the space. Also we designed 9 of these small shops for the project each with a different concept. Each store was designed to meet the specific needs of the products marketed, but with a common feel as the modern interpretation of traditional Turkish elements.
