The client have requested a beauty salon, a barber shop and a children’s hairdresser within a 300 sqm total space. Although these shops would lie next to each other we have decided to have different style approaches for each one. The beauty salon has more of an elegant theme with a warm color palette and burgundy accents where women would feel pampered in a luxurious environment. The barber is more industrial with metro-tiles, metal and black color scheme; where the children’s area is more of a theme park. Since it is hard to convince a child to a haircut we decided to create a play area where kids would enjoy to spend time while their parents are treated in the beauty salon or barber.
